Market Produce Specifications
FreshSpecs has been compiled by the Central Market Wholesalers, in conjunction with the largest buyers of fresh produce,
to ensure that they meet the expectations of Australian consumers.
These specifications have been adopted by the Wholesalers as their requirements for Class One produce being
delivered to Australia's six Central Markets.
FreshSpecs may be revised from time to time as required. These changes will be notified in the
Latest Revisions list. Please check the Latest Revisions list to ensure the copy
of
FreshSpecs for your produce has the most current 'Effective Date'.
Individual Wholesalers may vary a specification if local
or seasonal conditions dictate.
To be valid, all variations issued by Wholesalers must be in writing using the
FreshSpecs Variation Form.
If your Produce Type or Variety is not listed under FreshSpecs,
contact your Wholesaler to confirm the current specification for your produce.
