Fresh Markets Australia (FMA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Matthew Spencer to its Board of Directors. This strategic addition was confirmed during the latest board meeting held in March.
With a rich heritage in the fresh produce industry dating back to 2008, Matthew brings a wealth of expertise to the FMA board. As the Director of Group Operations at the Carter & Spencer Group, a family-owned business established in 1936, Matthew has demonstrated an exceptional commitment to advancing industry standards and enhancing operational efficiencies in wholesale, supermarket trade, and logistics, along with import and export operations.
Additionally, since 2023, he has extended his leadership skills and industry insights as a director of Brismark, further cementing his role as a key player in the fresh produce arena.
